karennoid aka Karen Valencia is a Mexican American DJ, Artist, and Creative from Gage Park. “La Reggaetonera de Chicago” is an ardent devotee and ambassador of the genre. Her DJ sets celebrate her Chicana identity and her passion for perreo, experimental reggaetón, deconstructed club, and alt-latin club sounds. karennoid has performed across the Midwest and internationally in México. She is a resident DJ, Event Producer, and Marketing Coordinator for Agua de Rosas, a CHI/MKE based event that celebrates the power and magic of Reggaetón. Aside from music, Karen is also a published poet, podcast host, and fashion freak. 

J.Córdova is a DJ, promoter, and designer, originally from Milwaukee, WI, and based in Chicago since 2019. J.Cordova has been DJing since a teenager and active in nightlife and club culture since 2012. Before creating Agua de Rosas with DJ Aguara’i in 2018, J.Córdova ran the club series Earth Angel that was an experimental dance music night in Milwaukee that hosted local and international DJs and helped shape Milwaukee’s Queer club scene. J.Córdova’s DJ sets are known to span the club music corners of the world with an emphasis on hard sounds, mixing not only Reggaeton but also the large spectrum of Latin club sounds, Techno, Hard Dance, and beyond.
